As the early-morning light filters in through the sugar-house walls, the crew gets ready to roll (or get some extra shut-eye 😂).
The whole day is a flurry of activity: Sap flowing and boiling as the hot steam rises from the frothy surface. Sweaty work!
It’s worth it. The only thing left to do is grade and pour the finished syrup before it heads to the farmstand.
